Built From the Ground Up: How Running Events Became TRM Flex

TRM Flex did not start as software. It started with a booking agency and a lot of late nights.

I set up TRM Music Agency at twenty-four, supplying live music to events, festivals and venues across Wales and up and down the UK. TRM Productions handled the logistics and production. Together we powered festivals like Castlefest, one team supplying the talent, the other running the operation.

Doing both sides, supply and logistics, is where the thinking behind TRM Flex began.

The problem I kept living

When you run the event and service the client, you feel every gap. The enquiry that loses detail on its way to ops. The staffing chased over messages. The supplier terms nobody can find. I lived that for years before I tried to solve it.

Why it matters that a founder ran the room

Plenty of event software is built by people who have never run an event. TRM Flex is built from the opposite direction, by an operator who learned events from the ground up. The experience always came first. That is still the number one driver.
